Comprehensive Terms of Use
1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Platform (e.g., Hear America's Voice Application) operated by Hear America's Voice, LLC. By creating an account, accessing, downloading, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Vision, Mission, and Purpose
The Platform is dedicated to empowering Americans to participate in informed civic engagement, community dialogue, and public discourse. The Platform seeks to promote transparency, accountability, factual information, and constructive discussion.
3. Eligibility
Users must be at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in their jurisdiction and possess legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
4. User Accounts and Security
Users are responsible for safeguarding account credentials and all activity conducted through their accounts. Unauthorized access must be reported immediately.
5. Community Standards and Acceptable Use
Users shall engage respectfully and shall not post unlawful, defamatory, threatening, fraudulent, hateful, deceptive, or manipulative content. Coordinated misinformation campaigns, deceptive media, and undisclosed bot activity are prohibited.
6. Accuracy, Truthfulness, and Civic Integrity
The Platform encourages evidence-based discussions. Users remain responsible for the accuracy of statements they publish. The Company may review, label, remove, or limit distribution of misleading content.
7. User Content and License Grant
Users retain ownership of submitted content but grant the Company a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, distribute, display, and analyze such content for operation and improvement of the Platform.
8. Data Collection and Privacy
Use of the Platform is governed by the Company's Data Collection Policy and Privacy Policy, which are incorporated by reference into these Terms.
9. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Moderation
The Platform may use artificial intelligence, machine learning, automated moderation, content classification, recommendation systems, and fraud detection tools. Automated decisions may be reviewed by human moderators.
10. Surveys, Polls, and Community Feedback
Results from surveys, polls, and civic engagement tools are informational only and do not constitute official election results, legal determinations, or governmental actions.
11. Intellectual Property Rights
All software, trademarks, logos, databases, source code, designs, and proprietary content are owned by the Company or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
12. Prohibited Activities
Users may not scrape data, distribute malware, reverse engineer the Platform, circumvent security controls, impersonate others, manipulate engagement metrics, or violate applicable laws.
13. Reporting and Enforcement
The Company may investigate violations and take actions including content removal, warnings, suspension, termination, or referral to law enforcement where appropriate.
14. Third-Party Services
The Platform may integrate third-party services, software development kits, authentication services, analytics providers, and hosting providers. The Company is not responsible for third-party practices.
15. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided on an 'AS IS' and 'AS AVAILABLE' basis. The Company disclaims all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages arising from use of the Platform.

Appendix A – Truthfulness, Civic Integrity, and Anti-Manipulation Policy
The Platform prohibits coordinated disinformation campaigns, deceptive influence operations, synthetic media intended to mislead, impersonation, voter suppression efforts, and weaponized content designed to inflame division or manipulate civic participation.
